anyone knows if the keyboard for i780 can be replaced with a new one? I couldnt even see the number's and characters anymore on my phone and where can i buy replacement keyboard if there's any?

i see... but then that one only punch out 950mAh juice while our standard one pumps out 1480mAh of juice leh... kenot tahan lar hahaha...
actually i was looking for an extended battery for i780 with the same size of the current one... i know that Mugen got this enormous 3000mAh juice powerplant but then it comes in the form of gigantic size and additional plastic cover... it's a bit horid... hahaha... anyway thanks dude...
as i'm now scouting for a new battery, i visited the Malaysia Samsung i780 site and the battery capacity is shown as 1140mAh and not 1480mAh as stated in the Samsung global i780 site    i wrote to Samsung MY for inquiry and to my surprise, they replied to me and confirmed it's 1140mAh??!!.. 

anyone knows how to check the capacity of the battery coz i can't find it printed on the battery itself...

yup, that's the horid looking Mugen Battery... but then when time comes and i kenot find any other extended battery, i may opt for that...

the momax battery capacity too small liao... the current one already draining too quick liao if i change to that momax, guess few hours gone hahaha...

i know that the Epix has got 1800mAh capacity, i wonder if it can be retrofitted into i780 hahaha since they are closely related... i know that both is outputing 3.7V.. but the physical dimension, i'm not sure if it's the same though...

yup, i use my phone heavily especially the push/pull e-mail function which i've set to grab automatically every 1 hour for 3 e-mail accounts using DiGi 3G... if i do this, then battery won't last for 1 day, approx. 3/4 day only... then it's flat dead...

now, i'm forced to turn off the auto sync and perform the manual sync over a long period of time to save battery juice... in this case, the battery can last longer like 1 1/2 days or even 2 days sometimes... but then i like the mails to be sync automatically rather than me having to go in and sync manually... i guess the 3G/HSDPA is the culprit as it drains too much battery each time it got activated...

after installing the latest firmware, my video recording seems to pause after sometime recording.

My 40 second video paused about 3-4 times.

Is it the latest firmware? Did i do it correctly?

Or did i drop it? Which i doubt.

Hi.. i would like to check is there anyone have the same issue i faced about battery life of i780.
I just subcribe to Digi data unlimited and had configure for a push gmail.  The i780 is getting hot and will finished a full charge of battery in less than 6 hours. But if i disable the push email, the same battery will last me for 2 days. I would like to find out whether this problem happen to my unit only for it happen to all i780. Thanks in advances

using wifi in selected area only ..... other hv to hook with 3g or edge.

but my question, why suddenly the phone is automatically switch to 3g or edge when wifi connection is on.

hmm... can't blame Samsung though for the low spec of the camera megapix coz they target this phone for business segment, thus all business segment phone have relatively low spec camera but bumped up high in others area such as Processor (32-bit Marvell PXA310 624 MHz processor which is far much more juice than HTC Diamond) and Memory (128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM)...

further more this phone was back dated to late 2007 and back then the entry level for business phone camera is 2MP 
as for now, the business phone camera is still very much bumped up only up to 3.2MP after 2-3 years since the i780 model... clear examples would be the OMNIA B73x series...

at the time of i780 released date and time, no doubt it was a superb complete package of mobility... 
(btw, i don't work for Samsung hahaha...i just like this phone...  )

is QVGA rite? which version is stable? is pro/lite need pay so i get Free version ? instal the pointUI cab installer to card or hp mem better? i beh tahan wan change eye candy theme liao lol the default theme is unbelivably boring ....

i instled pro n delete edi  cuz it kept prompt me in the phone, sien lorzz. so i instl the free one, worked equally well but the 'theme' look distorted n look bad. it's not the size not ngam, it just dont look 'original' but cheapalak theme by unprofessional lol so i use back i780 default theme except use own background.

do u know any installer that can clean kao kao unwanted programs? BEFORE i instl the pointui pro, my hp is 142mb free. AFTER i uninstalled the pro, left 140mb, meaning got 2mb rubbish didnt 100% cleaned lol so abit 'bu shuang' ...but window all the while never  efective in uninstallation zzzz

i'm using some software like, SPB Backup, SBP Time, Marketplace, MyPhone, Opera Mobile, Garmin, Windows Live, Google Earth, Google Apps, Facebook, YouTube Apps, etc...
so far.. no issue 

hmm... last time i used to restore the entire SMS of mine too but then i don't look at them one actually so i use Microsoft MyPhone and back it up... then archive it on the MyPhone website and then delete them from the phone... so whenever i wanna look at my old SMS-es, i go and find them at MyPhone website instead... so now whenever i flash to a newer ROM, it faster for me to restore and backup as the database of SMS-es now is smaller and of coz it's growing day-by-day.. till when it's too huge again, i will archive it using MyPhone once more...

MyPhone is a great tool to use for backing up and restoring SMS-es and Contact... basically, WM 6.5.x are quite stable on our unit... 

If you flash IronEagle's ROM, MyPhone should already be there...
