Hi guys, I have this slow connection problem happened since 2 weeks ago. Before that was the modem DSL light blinking problem( every 5 mins DSL blink very fas and take 10 mins to stable and happen repeatly). After that they solved DSL problem but my connection has dropped. lastime test download speed in tm.net.my speedometer get 1600kbps, now i get only 700kbps... OMG is like 60% performance deduction.. YOu guys have this problem? And when I download something, The dwnload spd will start at about 100kbps then slow drop till 40kbps.. Are they already did the speed limitation to my connection. OMG !!! I am so angry .  my subscribed package is 1MB. WHO GOT THIS PROBLEM !!!

Why not think of some solutions and suggest to TM?

Long have i with held coming here and ranting. I shall no more. I am using a proxy to stream YouTube + access certain sites. Proxies are all good but can never substitute a direct connection unless you pay for em or use different paid methods to connect to the net. This is getting out of hand. I have found ways to get very low ping times playing WOW so thank god. What is pissing me off is my connection has been unstable for the last 6 months.

Sometimes it's fast then slow and there are times when it comes to a standstill. Request timed out, high ping, low bandwidth to certain sites etc.. You name the problem we Streamyx users have experienced it. I even phoned those bloody customer support and they told me their usual favorite Porn Star line WE R Upgrading! I asked them a time line of when this so called Upgrade will be over the dumb ass doesn't know. I rang again not satisfied with just one answer. Another guy goes yes YouTube and many other streaming sites are slow and we know about it . He 1st blames international web sites and when i say my friends all over the world connect fine and it's not YouTube's bloody problem he tells me how other ISP's have more mirror servers and in Malaysia ours is congested. The ******* also has the cheek to point out to me I'm not the only one with this problem and they are getting many calls regarding streaming at a stand still at the moment. So I'm not alone and should just cry more with other users.

I ask him is that my goddamn fault if your servers get congested. I told him your best crap effort policy states 70% bandwidth i ain't getting no bandwidth to YouTube and other streaming sites. What's the use if i use speedometer and it tells me I'm getting the required bandwidth but can't use it. It's like i wish i had enough money to buy something but in reality i don't. I don't get the purpose of using speed test's when only on the speed test site you get maximum speed but the moment you use your speed for actual browsing, dowloading etc there is none.

Problem with this sh!t hole of a country there are no alternatives even if there were they ain't in bloody Malacca. To top that off many of the alternative ISP's piggy back on TMnut's internet backbone. It's really a terrible circle of monopolization & how the government does business in this country. This is F retarded & when my friends ask me is this a 3rd world country i say "Yes". I saw how new projects are being again given to TMnut hahah i laugh at the thought of 10 - 100mbps. Hey F ASS HOLES we haven't even got 2mb yet you want 10mb 1st get your damn house in order and priorities straight. There are so many areas that don't even have 2mb or 4mb connections.

At this rate i won't be surprised suddenly our market falls on it's face and the government goes EH how did this happen!

JonSpark you took the words right out of my mouth. I read today how MCMC is allowing TMnut to monopolize us for another 7 years by offering them another project. No wonder our country slipped 4 places in the world corruption standings. I read in disgust how every 3 years they will see if TMnut is using it's monopoly wrongfully. Really WTF! TMnut is a joke, Proton, MAS, ISA all of em are relics of the past.

This what happens when there is no competition. I thank god November I'm off to New Zealand. Off topic point. I like suddenly how all the petrol stations suddenly say they have no petrol because government decrease petrol price. Petronas meanwhile plunders petrol and sells it to other countries. So many of our companies in Malaysia has the same policy as our government. Plunder, Loot, Steal, Lie etc... Anything to stay in power and monopoly for years to come. Eventually all this will come crashing down and then they can play the excuse and blame game.
