I see no fix or whatsoever. Such downtime have been going on for a week now. Those sudden drop on bandwidth is seriously hurting my daily life and major delay on my freelance.

I don't know what the recent telecom man just did when he came to fix something for one of my neighbour that facing back of my house, all i know it doesn't happen yesterday, everything was fine..

Today i on like usual, everything so suck up, the line is freakin slow and it's  even hard for to me complete a website survey..., facebook also slow..!

Stupid TM, gaw!!!
*
Such downtime started quietly since after CNY. It affect Asia connectivity to Korea, Japan, Taiwan and 75% of China sites. Slowly it affects North America, Europe and whats badly affected is UK which i hardly do a proper FTP transfer. For a certain period of time, the connection is stable till last week, it came back with another silent downtime.

Frankly, there is no point whining or crying over current downtime. If we make enough of noise in any sort of media, we could probably shatter the oh-so-beautiful glass panels of TM HQ.

Back to square one. Connection degrading till kingdom come. My uploads goes from 32 kb/s to 0.5 kb/s to timeout error. Server is located in UK.

Few minutes later, MSN goes poof, couldnt access any website even. Currently dialed to 118.100 just to post this.

Only a certain range IP is back to normal. Still, the majority of the range still suffer from the slowdown.

On certain regions only. My connectivity to SG, KR, JP is filled with timeouts while connectivity to UK, DE, NL is filled with timeouts as well. To AU, NZ, download speed is usual but with rubberband effect.

Check this out :

Streamyx + VPN = timeouts

Streamyx - VPN = 404 page not found

Surprised to see the bandwidth is running dry fast now. Guess what is on the news today, TM is promoting work from home (or should i say lazy at home ) for their employees. Currently on trial run on 10 selected candidates.
