Better keep it in Matrix mode because just in case there are spot lights or unpredictable lighting change. Center mode can be used if you're doing portraits and zoom close close. Not on stage on ya... That one keep it in Matrix mode.

I see. Thanks. I was asking because last time (GACC 2008) i didn't have flash so some of the cosplayer pictures underexposed. Maybe this time i can get better result with SB-800 hehe.

Different camera, lenses sometime also different result... And the subject relative size on frame also make the end exspoure different. And of course the color of thier cloth make the most different...

So far my 40D is ok... I think I compensate around + 2/3 stop...
