I just saw the pricelist update. RM930 for 430EX is a bit steep.
Once again, I want to ask. why choose the 430EX instead of the WAY cheaper Nissin 622 which is RM480 when you only want to use it as slave? The Nissin, AFAIK, also performs the same right? When I was in US and join the local ppl do strobist stuffs, they were (majority) using OLD vivitar flashes with manual control. (but still can control the flash intensity lah)

I also want to do strobist style shooting lah so that's Y i'm asking.

Actually, now, I'm more towards trying to locate some hotshoe adapters for my 2 other OLD flashes and also get some optical sensor/triggers for the flashes.

Was lazy and tired lol, muscle ache from all the weight. Dark ar, i think some are quite overexposed already.
Still pretty harsh even with diffuser. Maybe i should've use the wide flash adapter to diffuse the flash even more (or angled the flash head). I use ISO 200.  Ah well, live and learn.

I see... thanks for the advice. Next time i try angled flash with ISO 800.

Actually the SB-800 already has it's own diffuser similar to Sto-Fen. Lambency bowl ? Is it really that good ? I might consider. How much is it for SB-800 ?
