I have a late-2008 Unibody Aluminum Macbook, 2.0 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 160GB HD with a faulty screen. How much would it cost to repair it? I sent it in for diagnosis and the repair guy said some insects must have bitten the screen cable or something. Half of the screen is dead.

I couldnt boot my macbook pro 2008 (early), when i bring my laptop to apple service center they told me that's the problem of logic board, it has to replace a new 1. Seriously, the price of replacing a new logic board is expensive. I wana ask how much for repairing a logic board and normally how long for you to took for the repair. Cause im from penang. Thanks.
