If they wanna con, they can always spam to get minimal postcount to open. Just be careful during trade.

I Agree with your part where a lot of problematic bulks are from young sellers.
And bout the part where they blame the middle man, you might think they're just finding excuses to clear themselves off but that is what happened.
Anyway, whose fault it is, they're the seller, they have to bear full responsibility.
It's lucky that many of them actually stood out to face the reality and try to solve their problems.
It might take some time, but it's better than con.

Btw, ur example of BAT doesn't quite make sense to me... wink.gif

Anyway, i really hate bulkers and sellers who knows nuts bout what they're selling.

About the minimal post count suggestion, i honestly think it's not going to make any difference.
It's not the matter of contribution or not, but as many had pointed, these people who intends to gain the repo will just spam. I happen to know one of them who did that and is now in deep shit, though he's trying to resolve his matters.

If you really want safer trading, do it like lelong, only verified IC members.
But again, LYN is not a trading website like lelong, so it's not going to happen.

if really change.. our community will be massively spammed.. (who got post = who more reliable)
and the conman also can simply post and gain trust..
den end up will be a junk forum..

and doesn't mean senior member will not con (same situation as above)
for me, if wan a reliable trade, check every single detail wherever is possible..

yes. agree...

0 post = does not mean he is a con man...
> 0 posts = doesn not mean he is not a con man...

Like me, potential con man also... laugh.gif laugh.gif

But honestly, restrict post is not a good idea, i think probably end up with other sub-forum will become a place to spam smile.gif

Just my own opinion anyway.... blush.gif

Very true. This will encourage ppl to spam with one liners everywhere just to reach the quota to post in the sales threads. I guess the only thing we can do is to use our common sense when dealing with anyone.

Some of them are peopl who are interested in the said item after viewing the thread as a guest and would like to have further discussions and/or negotiations with the seller with regard to the said item.

I for one, am not for the ban of 0 post members in Trade Zone.

In that case shall we remove the trade zone than since at first; there's never had been any to start off with.

If you have tradezone, there's bound to be ppl who just lurks around there doing there trade.
Or when someone google something for sale, he might just register looking for that particular item and not to hang around LYN discussing. Are we going to penalise them?!

Smart sellers will contribute as much as they can to gain trust
Meanwhile, the smart buyers can trace their posts or check their successful trade list
