I think anything above 20khz won't be noticeable since our human ears can only hear up to 20khz but that depends on our age, as we get older, our hearing range will decrease so uncompressed PCM might sound just like normal DD track. Most good floorstanders can do around 30hz to 35hz like that, anything lower than that, can only be achieved with the help of a subwoofer.
