I bought an item from an online shop in the US a few days ago. Today the Pos Malaysia people called me to say the item kena tahan at customs, and I will be receiving a letter with some options on it on what I want to do.

The thing is that I need the item urgently, so preferably I don't want to wait for the letter to arrive at my house (Tuesday afternoon at the earliest).

I have:

1) The item tracking number
2) Invoice of the purchase from the online shop
3) A reference number from Pos Malaysia (looks like E5XXXX)

Without the letter, and with just this information, can I go to KLIA to retrieve the item? If yes, can somebody please tell me where exactly in KLIA I have to go to get the item?

Added on March 16, 2008, 7:34 pmBy the way, I bought some microphones, value about US$180. If anyone knows what the taxable amount is, that would be helpful as well. If not don't worry, it's a business expense anyway. What's more important is that I get it urgently.
