just wanna ask, im currently using Raidmax sagitta and Gigabyte Ep35 Ds3 MOBO,
will the red scorpion fit into my case without removing the side case fan? if can, i'll consider buying this one to replace my minithyphoon HSF

i see, thanks for the reply guys, but if i get rid of the side panel, then my casing would only have one 120 mm exhaust fan at the back, which means less hot air coming out from the casing? or does the Red scorpion helps sucking more hot air from its fan and sends its straight out to the rear of the casing?
for the red scorpion users, what is your proc's idle temp when using this HSF? is it always less than 40 degree(idle) in a non AC room?

bought the HSF, this thing is HUGE!! and it did bend my board a little, not sure it'll bend further in time.
But as for the cooling, a lot better than my previous HSF, thanks to the huge fan which causes me to reposition my Sagitta side panel glass to the inside of the casing.
i did that to reposition my side panel casing fan to the bottom at the same level of my GPU. The "sagitta" logo were replace by stickers cause it was positioned up side down when i repositioned the side casing fan
as for the conclusion, this HSF makes my PC look more extreme and a lot cooler hehehe
Just wondering is it ok to run the fan at 15++ RPM continuously? cause my ambient temp kinda high, about 30-35 degree since its a small room, so the air circulation is not that good...
will it reduce the lifespan of the fan motor?

QUOTE(anonymous111 @ Nov 11 2008, 07:41 PM) hey every red scorpion s1283 user's ,i interested to buy this stuff, juz wanna ask where to get Socket 775's enhance kit,i saw sell separately.. and is it compulsory to use Artic Cooler MX-2 High Performance Thermal Compound to compound the processor i used silver based "cap ayam"(no brand) thermal compound with this heat sink,it costs me RM 5. No prob so far. my temp: 39C on idle 45C-50C on load (overclocked E8200 to 3.50 GHZ) ambient temp:22C
