QUOTE(kmarc @ Apr 16 2008, 02:34 PM) Your OC is good. You could probably push it higher. i tot nid to stress the ram togater? no nid?? 3.0 @ 1.3v is for 24/7 setup.. the ram runing @ 333mhz 3-3-39 better or 400mhz @ 4-4-4-12?However, to stress the CPU, don't use "blend test". Use "Small FFTs - stress CPU"..... |

Will give some oil pumping on my rigs when i got the time. QUOTE(tech_frix @ Jun 27 2008, 01:03 AM) hehe...manage to reach 3.24ghz (my siggy) but on 1.425v.. set 1:1 when ur ram not so oc-able, so it will same mhz as ur cpu fsb, if ur ram is highly ocable then can set 5:6 which run faster, but it depend on ram's timing as well..tighter my ram to 4-4-4-12... one Q here, what is the pros and cons for setting divider to 1:1 and 5:6..? thanks... |

QUOTE(weikeat90 @ Jul 22 2008, 10:09 PM) erm.. a new e2180 user here... i hav oc my proc to 3.3ghz.. voltage in bios is 1.3375v. my cooler is xigmatek hdt-sd964 wif the crossbow kit installed.. it is posible with tat vcore and speed, 56c is normal for pentium dual core, but dont over 65c, better to keep below for 24/7 use ok.. here's my question.. the max load temp is 56'c for both cores under full load when running orthos.. i use core temp to monitor my temps.. but izit possible the temp to be so low.. n which is better?? real temp or core temp?? maybe i hav being influence by the high temps of my previous pentium D.. |

QUOTE(weikeat90 @ Jul 24 2008, 10:27 PM) well.. 74'c is not bad really... coz my previous P-D 820 was oc'ed to 3.75ghz and load at 75'c and tat was on a stock intel cooler.. P D and P DC are not same, u cant compare the temp they can handle like that...off topic here.. i was shocked by the stock cooler tat came wif my e2180.. it was half the size of the cooler frm P-D 820 and without the copper core aso... |

QUOTE(akuinsan @ Jan 11 2009, 10:52 PM) i need some advise about my O.C setting mostly the test failed due to the ram, pump more vdimm or use lower ram divider.my pc spec is mobo - GA-P35-DS3 ram - 4GB ; 2x value kingston DDR2 800MHz proc - e2180 1st setting -cpu multiplier set to default x10 -cpu freq set to 300 -memory divider at 3.33 so result = cpu clock @3000MHz / memory clock @1000MHz / FSB at 1200MHz everyday used nothing problem, no crash, no hang, no blue screen, BUT.... test using Everest system stability - had some error after 2~3 minutes test --------------------------------- 2nd setting -cpu multiplier set to x8 -cpu freq set to 380 -memory divider at 2.5 so result = cpu clock @3040MHz / memory clock @950MHz /FSB at 1520Mhz test using Everest system stability test - no error at all so now i stick at 2nd setting. cause the high FSB...so far i monitor the mobo temperature is arround 30~39' celcius so, any problem with my setting? is setting cpu multiplier from default x10 to x8 cause any prob to my proc? |
