tampon if inserted properly can prevent leakage in the water,
just insert a new one before entering the water, and change a new one immediately after you come out.. i never use before, but my friend did when we went to the sea...snorkelling diving also nothing came out |

There are meds which you can buy over the counter at pharmacy or watson that would delay it. Just tell them that you're going for a holiday and you need the meds to delay it. Not very expensive as well.

Snorkeling?
Beware of sharks. When I was snorkeling Langkawi, they're using blood soaked chicken parts to attract the sharks to the shore. |

if you don't wish to take pills, can go for tampon.
Actually, when you're inside the water, it wont leak out due to water pressure outside, but once you come out from water, the water pressure is gone. Im using tampon since few years ago and after that i never use pads anymore. you have to find your comfortable way to insert it in. GreenNerdy is right, you have to change once you got out from water to beware of infection. Snorkeling will only equipped with a diving mask, a shaped tube called a snorkel. You have to wear your own swimsuit and with a life jacket only. |

If you take the tampon method, I would actually suggest that you don't go deep-sea snorkelling/diving lar. Near the beach SHOULD be fine. Sharks really are attracted to blood... would you want to die because of a leaky tampon?
The meds that delay your period are usually oral contraceptives, actually. While not quite as bad as some people may lead you to believe, they do cause quite a range of possible side effects even from short-term use. These would be inconsistent or irregular periods after stopping them, as well as mood swings, weight gain, acne etc. |

For tampons, i suggest you go for the smallest size. There's 3 sizes for Johnson & Johnson brand.
Those other sizes make me pain even im not XXXXXX Playtex tampon comes with applicator, means tat you dont need you finger to insert it in. But the application just too big for me. |

Otherthan pineapple juice, I think cincau, green peas soup or maybe watermelon juice, it really helps to come earlier it's not easy to insert it in.. and some people might find it painful and disturbing. you wouldn't want to be suffering instead of having fun during ur holiday. most of my friends opted for the pills.. they'll delay ur menses. i don't think there is a need to worry about taking pills as an unhealthy choice.. it's not like you go to beach every month for holiday.. if you want to gamble ur way to a more natural way, drink pineapple juices if you want ur menses to come faster; take black pepper if you want to delay ur menses. to delay it I have not come across it b4 by eating any food, just oral contraceptics (My period went back to normal after 2mths |
