Euphie death is necessary for the plot to go on. Imagine if she doesn't get geass by lelouch, the order of the black knight is disbanded and season 2 never exist..

well, seeing how brittania works and knowing the emperor's way of thinkin, probably they do. since they need to be strong to survive

as for euphie's death, its not a certain must for the plot to move on, as there can always be twists here and there so long it doesnt involve the main char (eg: killin lulu)

Dunno, I think that Euphie's death NEEDS to be done
- It made Suzaku more emo that he don't care who is his friend anymore
- Lelouch feels more remorseful of what he is doing
Those are the two different feelings that the main characther felt after the death of Euphie. And it shows during R2. But honestly, I feel that more civillians are killed by Britannians than any of teh Black Order under Zero. And if it's war, everything goes. But Lelouch still feels sorry with his action (remember shirley?) compared to Suzaku.
Both are not right in their action, but honestly Lelouch is the more idealist of teh two. And if I ever want a leader, I never want someone like Suzaku.

Suzaku is a knight type hence hes not fitted to be person who lead, command, rule
while Lulu is strategist type hence not fitted to be the one who did unlimited spin kick, running on wall, survive in wilderness alone.

If you guys watched episode 1 for S1 and S2..Lulu actually try to help those Japanese without any hidden motive instead of stand aside and watch

It seem that Lulu dont really care about the race different at all.

No one wants people like Suzaku as a leader. His judgement is easily clouded by his surrounding and his own beliefs make him unable to act decisively when the crunch hits.

Depends. The 11s might not like that the ppl that is leading them is a Britannian, and he is too young, which can turn off many ppl.

The Order of Black Knight generaly knows he is a Britannian.

I think he keep his identity a secret as Its easier to manuver around and plot invasion plans. I mean going agaisnt someone like the Emperor sure needs alot of insurance.

But apparently The Emperor felt C.C is a much bigger Fish. So now use Lelouch as bait.. which kinda failed so I not sure what going on now..
