actually it depend on location...
i stay at bangi and at my area celcom suck..
im using it for 2 month and the speed very slow.. i can say my x digi faster..
but for umobile.. i don't say that they r good... i say they r better...
cause till now after 1 month and half subcribed, i already downloaded more than 50GB... and my download record r 2.4GB in 2 hours... but still other umobile user get faster than that...

if u findout ur umobile slow... its maybe due to conggestion... especially at night...
i tell u, i already use maxis, celcom, digi and umobile... All of this ISP facing same problem... disconnecting (except DIGI), conggestion at night, always down for maintenance...

I believe if u read celcom thread u can find many comlaint inside it.. same also for maxis and DIGI..
For P2P, i dont think they block P2P as i can download it... But i believe they control the speed so u can't download fast.. the faster i get is 15kB/s... compare if download using HTTP = 300kB/s

u use rapidshare premium...?
i using it and it too great.. too many thing need to download and using rapidshare premium make me download a lot... 1.4GB per hour...

i dont think using speed test can show true speed...
I try before n my download speed sometime below 2Mbps...
but actual downloading were 3Mbps.. aroound 400KB/s... (using rapidshare and download manager)

but loading pages..... ... need to refresh many times (from 8pm ~ 3am)

however, when surfing.. quite slow and hard during prime time

actually there are somehing weird about umobile...
normally when surfing at peak hour... line will be very slow (others telco also same)...

but thats not affect when downloading during peak hour... i still manage to get 2 ~ 2.8Mbps (4 file download at one time using rapidshare premium and IDM)....

however... I still happy subscribing them....

my broadband history ... :-
1) maxis bb - 3 month only, got HSDPA but speed suck (good for first month only )
2) celcom bb - 2 month, sometime got HSDPA but always UMTS (both signal suck...)
3) Digi Edge - 3 month, nice and stable but speed only EDGE, cant tahan during download
4) UMOBILE - 9 month, so far so good so what.....

speedtest.net are not reliable...
some forumer even got > 10Mbps (read celcom thread)...
but when downloading... only manage to get around 100KB/s...

the best test is u try download from microsoft site and check it download speed... (KB/s not kbps)...
this test not quite true but still eligible.. (due depend on server and etc)
then u know the real downloading speed
mine can get 350KB/s (around 2.8mbps and not test using microsoft site)... with 4 file download at once..
i'll post the pic for a proof but i think everybody can get same with me....

download game last night (8GB) .... speed still same but frequent disconnection..

downlock really fast but when come to uploading...

For those who hard to accept umobile truely fast / can download 8GB below 12 hours....
