Changing to bigger rims is only about getting the good looks smile.gif Many people do that including myself too. If you want performance and comfort, stick to your stock rims/tyres.

You can see for yourself that no cars in the track would use big rims. That already tells it doesn't give you performance difference. I like to pimp my ride these days and performance comes 2nd (although important) laugh.gif

Obviously I would know the differences and for me pimping my ride today doesn't mean I haven't tried or learned anything about performance cars when I was younger. I'm just sharing the fact that bigger rims gives nothing more than looks and that's a reality.

When we start talking about stability of the car, it's more than just rims and tyres. What the thread starter wants to know is the purpose of bigger rims so I try to make it simple.
