If ppl changing to bigger rim and it is MALAYSIA made or TAIWAN made.. then the reason should be for COSMETICS PURPOSE and PERFORMANCE when CORNERING, also TIGHT BUDGET.

But, if ppl changing to bigger rim and it is JAPAN made which is light compare to TAIWAN.. then the reason is for a PERFORMANCE, BETTER CORNERING, GOOD LOOKING and off course they have BIG BIG MONEY.

it is lightweight and performance is better. not that better in handling only. u should know that rite. as for general, bigger rims means bigger width. more contact with road. it is not that i mean, japan rim better than taiwan rim in cornering part.. it should be same as long as it is bigger size... having said 17 or 18 inch rim.

is it too hard or bumpy for 17" with 215/45/17? because sometimes i have to fetch my parents.... blink.gif

i dont think so, because i fetch my parents too, mostly brought them to market.. hehe.. btw, if u feel it is hard for u.. just go for 215/50 one.. but it is not easy to find that size.. biggrin.gif
