Well, the entire Celine Dion concert and special features are entirely in 1080i, only the main menu is 1080p/24fps but no complaints lah, the picture is razor sharp, not a single flicker at all so no complaints there. I guess the new Bravia Engine 2 lives up to my expectations, it upscaled my PS3 games from 720p to 1080p perfectly, the PS3 is a very notti machine, even though I selected 1080p as the default resolution, most of the games will output at 720p except for Ridge Racer 7 and Virtua Tennis 3, both can support 1080p natively. As for XBOX 360, it will upscale everything at the selected resolution regardless whether the game is 720p or 1080p, it has quite a capable built in video scaler.
No lah, Taukeh BD (mpyw) forgot to mention that I sold off my 40' V series Bravia at RM5K, then I top up RM2K for this Full HD Bravia. No point keeping it since prices of HD Ready LCDs are dropping much faster than Proton, if dun sell now, sure mati.

Of course, got other damage to my pocket lah, I bought a Supra power cord from Desa, Plaza Low Yat at RM550 and a second hand Audioquest HDMI-3 cable from my friend at RM500. This month will still buy some BDs but will be lesser, yeah ..... definitely would love to get Coyote Ugly for sure.    End of the month baru get my Yamaha RX-V3800, itu my gf sponsor punya, birthday present.  I guess my HD experience should be complete for now, relief a bit.
