ATi usually have better, much better IQ..thats why they lost frame rate compared to NViDiA that focus on frame rate, not IQ..

FPS=Nvidia wins.
Image Quality=Ati wins.

from my observation la, an OCed 9600GT works like an 8800GT. this is based on what i tested with the 9600GT on my side.

the HD3870 GC wouldn't be that far off.

9600GT have so much horsepower under the bonnet, that for the first time I'm not bothered to overclock anymore! Stock is enough for all the games I play, never in my life I buy such a good price/performance cards like this, and its even cheaper than 7600GT I bought 1 & 1/2 years ago

Not so la. After long period of time, the bushes become white2 shape. Then go down a bit.

Just bought a Galaxy 9600GT normal edition. Wanna ask sifu here, Zalman VF900-Cu is it better than the original copper heatsink fan? Or they are the same in cooling performance?

I do play crysis but after 1 hour my pc become very lag, is it cause by the heat?

are u mean original 9600GT (copper heatsink fan)? , of cos VF900-cu better , the iuuse may cause by overheating etc....

Sure is Zalman VF900 much better.
How long it will lag after 1 hour? U have to check it is some program is running on background when u r playing game.

Welcome to our 9600GT family, ya, use the stock already can serve us well, but u can oc it to show ur card potential.

After I adjust the fan speed from 30% to 60%, it become more better.

Maybe virus, or ur anti virus scan ur data itself. But since u said it become better after u adjust ur fan speed, so mostly is heat problem.

Probably the memory is bulked up...

Which brand 9600gt oc is better..??

Personally, I've used MSI N9600GT OC Edition before, it was a superb card with a cheap price.

No problem or whatsoever. An excellent card. MSI is poor with its motherboard, but otherwise, good with its graphics.

i using iceQ 3870 last time. now change to galaxy OC 9600GT>
really got much mcuh different in the image quality.

i'm using asus 9600gt with glaciator fan but without ramsink
core able to reach 700 easily but temp.....74c++ juz abit worry to clock the ram without ramsink any1 using asus also?
