i'm using asus 9600gt with glaciator fan but without ramsink
core able to reach 700 easily but temp.....74c++ juz abit worry to clock the ram without ramsink any1 using asus also?

i juz to overclock my 9600gt to 700/1750/1900
weird not much improvement....btw izzit good to OC my gc for 24/7???

i think not much improvement in 3Dmark06 only
but i do feel i ply crysis much more smooth thn b4

my Asus 96Gt having high temp b4 its much more hot compare to my frenz 1 which using refrence cooler...........wht the asus glaciator fan for.....51c whn idle 78 c for load
i decided to find out the ans!i plug out the heatsink and saw ZOMG the thermal paste put out the core but not at the center of the core
after apply some AC-MX2 , temp 45c idle 58 load very cool

hi all juz manage to OC my 9600GT to 800/2000/900 yay^^ 800 Core
everything running fine and i manage to score E12942 in 3DMark Vantage (entry setting) btw i found my 96gt still running cool even @ clocked speed 800 core

Xeon e3110 @3.6Ghz
p35-ds3 r2.1
kvr 2gb x 2 ddr800
asus 9600gt

how can this happen?even 9600gso based on g92 but its still a cut down ver of 8800gt
i know bcoz GALAXY 9600gso comes wif 8 chip of ram
