Retinal detachment is a medical emergency.
you'll have sudden painless loss of eye sight ! - like a curtain falling down your eye .

Floaters can either be - normal physiological aging process or - warning sign of detachment ( but it'll be suddenly lots and lots of floaters, not 1 or 2 smile.gif )
