another thing how to use the radio
*
u need to at least plug in an earphone either nokia or other brands to work the radio....if u wan to listen the radio in using the in-built speaker u would still need to plug in the earphones....and no the earphone doesnt function as an antenna....coz when i plug in other earphone ie for ipod...i still can listen to the radio....

the free maps by malsing are kinda outdated....if u need the latest map...u'll need to contribute at least 2 point of interest (POI) to get the unlock key from the admin....cheers..

first lock to satellite usually takes longer as in like 4 to 6 minutes...make sure u're in stationary mode ie not moving around....u'll get satellite lock in a shorter period of time....

lol @ snake

anyway....so far n95 8gb's gps has been performing well...altho somethings the signal can be lost and it drains quite a far bit of battery but still it is very reliable....i've used windows mobile's gps before as well...performance wise...not bad but reliability bad...half way using the whole phone restarts itself...and u're lost in the middle of nowhere....

Is it N95 / N95 8GB? Here is N95 8GB topic  whistling.gif

Advertisement --> You can buy it from me  whistling.gif

I have a question! Now i planning for N82 / N95 8GB. Is it N95 8GB just the capacity as the only one advantage compare to N82?  icon_question.gif
*
8gb is one advantage, it comes with more ram as well 128mb and the screen is larger and bigger battery capacity...

Btw how do i know i'm on HSDPA 3.5G band? when it just show 3G only?

Thanks.
*
the signal meter wont show if u're in 3.5G unless u start to browse the net or activate the connection...if u're in 3.5g coverage area u will be automatically connected using 3.5g which the signal bar will show...if not u will only use 3g or edge whichever connection is available...

QUOTE(xpresside @ Jun 18 2008, 01:32 PM)
yea but mine cant even last 1 day
*
it really depends on how u use it tho...if u're actively into gps...it wont last more than 1.5hrs....

QUOTE(motherker @ Jun 18 2008, 03:13 PM)
