I am planning to drive to Penang from KL this early July after so many years...

Anybody tell me what are the 'must-stop' food pit-stop along the way from KL to Penang??? E.g I know there's a famous seafood restaurant @ Bukit Tambun (if I'm not mistaken) which sells weird but delicious siput like the 'helicopter' siput. Any other cool stops along the journey that you can suggest???

Is it true that the Roti Canai at Transfer Rd. is as good as they say? How do I get there if I'm staying at Bt Feringghi?
