Me not penang lang so not sure ya. But if me not mistaken, red rock is oposite grand paradise and very near to sunway hotel.
It is located on mcalister road and i think not really tat near to gurney leh.
Em,, got one place famous for food in mcalister is just nearby.
Walking distance to Komtar and all bus goint to Batu ferringgi will pass by Gurney Drive.

or book early for cititel penang.. bout 99 pernight,,gud and strategic location and clean.. near clubbing spot oso..

same location but cheaper around cititel,, i recommend merchant, hotal malaysia and hotel continental.. gud place to stay..
