Yeah.. better don't go Penang during CNY.. Horrible jam..imagine just to cross the bridge or even using ferry, already 2 hrs affair. And in the island, everywhere also jam and you will find the jam even worst than KL during this time.

Added on February 16, 2012, 10:11 ameh..BTW, to get BKK price..the only place- Inside Tesco food court! The Tesco food court pricing much cheaper than those over-rated restaurant surrounding Hatyai city.. (Well no doubt ppl can find cheaper option in the outskirt but how many tourist got the luxury finding & searching for those hulu-hulu cheapo restaurants) Opsss...darn..This is OT liao This post has been edited by stimix: Feb 16 2012, 10:12 AM |

QUOTE(Evion94 @ Jul 23 2013, 02:03 PM) i planning to go penang with colleague in group of 5-8, i have no idea go for 3D2N or 2D1N, thinking want go the sunway hotel of seberang jaya or Equatorial Hotel. Try to be more specific. Staying in Seberang Prai, and if you are travelling to Penang Island, durely you will incurred daily toll/ferry fare. Easier to stay in Penang island if you are only wanting attraction on the Island side. Id Penang side, Equatorial which is located in Bky Jambul is far from Georgetown which might not be a good idea. Since you are targeting Sunway hotel, Why not staying at Sunway new lanes in downtown Georgetown. New Lanes itself is famous for night hawker fairs.can someone help me give me some idea and planning what to do? |

QUOTE(HateBlackOps @ May 26 2014, 06:00 PM) Hello. my german friends are coming over here to visit and they want to go to a beach. since we will be in penang also, i was wondering about the condition of the beach over there. what do you think? rating? Clean? dirty? overcrowded? oil spill lol? Beach is clean but the water is not clear but acceptable. Too many beach activities.. very dangerous to swim when jet skis, speed boats criss crossing each others..thanks! |
