flood hits nakhon si thammarat, satun, patthalung, trang, koh samui, krabi & narathiwat..
landslides is in krabi..
so far hadyai is still ok, but heavy rain almost everyday.

p/s: gloriarosa just reach hadyai, hope she brings umbrella during shopping

please kindly recommend me which VIP bus company should I take from KL to hadyai and also anyone here know any agency can book hotel room in cheaper rate?
my travel period is 29/4/2011 till 1/5/2011

For bus, Dunno, never take bus there b4..probably try Transnasional & Konsortium

Once you arrive at the konsortium's stop in hadyai, they sell vouchers (discount) of accomodation. Its similar to other bus provider too.

thanks for the reply...but my travel period fall on 29/4 - 1/5 which is labour day...peak season...so is a risk to get hotel when i reach there...

Get it from any of the online booking site-lah cheaper than you walk-in or any agents in M'sia

i'll be arriving at hatyai moday the 11th (8days from today).. and it's obvious it's because of the songkran festival.. looking for some material for my photography collections..

i need some advice from any otai(s) of hatyai.. what will be the exact date of the midnight songkran? n i think i'll be arriving a bot early for the festival, any suggestion of what can i do to burn time around the area?

dunno how long i'll be staying but aven't book any room yet.. igt mau kasi redah saja pergi den cari.. anyone going during the period, bley la halu2 lepak mana2.. huhu~

hadyai midnight songkhran festival will be on the 11th - 13th..
tapi acara main2 air will be on the 13th only..

about redah saja tu, not really advisable during songkhran festival ni..
sebab every year bilik2 kat sini sentiasa penuh during tarikh tersebut..
room rates pulak increase due to demands..

any recommended traditional massage centre for ladies nearby lee garden? a nice and good one.. our shoulder needs massage badly..

the water splashing towards strangers will only be starting on the 13th is it? n during the midnight songkran, will there be any kind of main air?

lee garden hotel itself have their own massage centre, but can't remember which floor..
but once u reach the elevator, there'll be a signage stating their floor location..

yes bro, water splashing will only be on the 13th..
meanwhile for the other 2 days before, there'll be lots of festival's programs,
such as, songkhran beauty pageant, music performances, traditional shows, etc.

This year probably the coolest and wettest mth of Songkran.. Never b4 the hottest Mth in whole Thailand & indo China calender can be so cold & wet

^ rain has stopped for 3 days here in hadyai & other southern province, so it'll be a wet & warm songkhran..
except for northern & eastern provinces which is still cold
