why would you be scrutinized. just as long as you drive as a normal person and always remember that you're in a foreign country you'll be fine. thailand motorist are different than MY and don't blast ur horn like you own the road and you'll be fine.
southern thailand drivers are normally slow drivers and less reckless than in KL.
