any particular reason why when i plug in my iphone to my xp, the task bar asking me if i wanna get pictures from the iphone, does not appear anymore.


or is there an alternative method to retrieve pics from the phone, apart from using shh? thx

okay this is very weird.

i think there is something wrong with the iphone.

i tried on both xp and mac os x leopard.

it was working fine on both machines a couple of days ago.

any idea why? thx in advance

okay restored successfuly. the camera is on the my computer section now.



but problems brewing ahead. im on 1.1.2, so i used customize to hide my unwanted icons you see. my installer along with other icons are in it (i created an icon on the springboard to put everything inside).

so when i restored, the icon went missing. so everything inside went missing as well. how do i bring it up again?

there is an app created especially for that. sry i cant help coz i just restored from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 (courtesy of someone), so its not in my installer list anymore

i always thought that is an advantage rather than a dis-

but do bear in mind, if mac lags, it literally lags. will take quite some time for it to gather itself up again

yup! if i am in their shoes, i just probably set a quota of complaints allowed for an app. once they exceed a threshold, its automatically by default "dangerous". pretty easy eh? they dont have to investigate them as big sdk developers probably have their own set of engineers to figure them out. nothing to lose but everything to gain man.

this is like buying a gaming console already

can the iphone be charged via the electrical plug when the iphone is turned off?


from my observation, it can charged but a much slower rate or doesnt charge at all.


i tried doing that earlier. i charged half way then decided to turn the iphone off (just to give it a rest) and an hour later, the charge bar stays almost the same (maybe increase a little)


ideas?

just curious la! when i was in high school, i turned off my phone each night before i hop to bed. but not anymore la. heh

it is claimed (observe the claim word again) that, itunes 7.5 gives less problems during the restore or upgrading process for JB phones. fyi, im still on 7.5

its cool because if you set the region to the states, you will obviously see the bracket enclosing the mobile prefix provider such as (012), (019) etc. but what happens if its a landline? take my ttdi number for instance, it will appear as (037) 7 no? in this case, the patch will cause the local landline to appear as (03) 77

as a conclusion, frozzbyte's patch will fix it and make the arrangement prettier. and of course it will sort out the fact there outside s'gor and kl, there are only 7 digits numbers and also weird combinations from sabah and sarawak.

easy dude.

lets say for instance you try to input an address inside the contacts of the iphone, you will realise that (not shocking of course) malaysia is missing from the list and as desperate, you might get, you will be tempted to select s'pore instead.

that patch that mr byte provided above, offers a simple solution to that whereby you can actually select malaysia!


the second patch which i mentioned earlier, works as above.
