What do you mean by status? Do you get a full bar with the zap sign over it? To see the real battery state while charging, push the sleep button and then push it again to wake it under lock mode. Then you should be seeing the green bar and battery cell.

Keep in mind that first few charge might take a little longer! And in charge will also be working in multiple phase. First phase might take just a few minute and the last phase might take a little longer!

Im not sure why this happen to you. Im using bosspref as well and everything works well. Alternatively, you can use bosspref to enable wifi/bluetooth/ssh.

Green bar still shows on mine. The voltage at your power point may be weak.

Im using Videora iPhone Converter. Its free and converts well. No complains.

The worries is, US voltage is relatively lower than ours I hope it wont blow it up.

Thats possilble lol. Just take it as thought you didnt have a chance to use it yet thats if your problem is non activated relation (eg: damaged screen). Problem like dead camera cant be revealed until your phone is activated and i guess you can use the Activate/cancel trick to get it to warranty.

The difference between ipodtouch and iphone is the product competition. iPhone will be offered as a smart phone. For a smartphone, iPhone is tough competition knowing that standard business features such as blackberry pushmail and of course the 3g network which is widely used in US.

You would say most telco providers have already approached them? Citation needed! South korean is one country not all and yet theres no source for that.

Yes you need a WIFI/Edge for connection. Its not possible to wire the connection from your computer (At least not that i know of)

There are two ways to manage your files and execute command lines. You can connect and execute command lines with Shell (SSH) or using FTP browser to view the files in directory form.

Step 1: Preping
1. Go to installer.app. Install BSD Subsystem and OpenSSH on your iPhone.
2. Restart phone.

Step 2: Retrieving IP Address of your iPhone
1. Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
2. Setting -> Wi-Fi
At the "Choose a Network" area, there are blue circled arrows on each network. On the network that you've selected, touch the blue circle.
3. Copy down the IP Address

Choose Step 3 that suits you.

Step 3a: SSH
1. Download putty.exe here
2. Start putty.exe and enter your iPhone ip address at the HostName/Ip Address field. Make sure the port is 22 and protocol is SSH (Pretty much default)
3. Enter username as "root".
4. Enter password as "alpine" (for newer release) or "dottie" (for earlier release).
3. Proceed with your command lines

Step 3b: FTP Client
1. Download any ftp client that supports SSH (Eg: CuteFTP Pro / WinSCP)
2. Start the CuteFTP Pro -> File -> New -> SFTP (SSH2) Sites
3. Enter your iPhone ip address at the HostName field.
4. Enter username as "root".
5. Enter password as "alpine" (for newer release) or "dottie" (for earlier release).
6. Click on Type tab. Make sure SFTP (SSH2) is selected as protocol type and Port 22.
7. Click connect at the bottom left of the menus.
8. Proceed browsing your files.

Tried restarting your iPhone and router? It happens to me sometimes.

Well I think its easier to perform a manual application installation so via FTP client. You can get trial version of CuteFTP Pro. There will be limitation but enough to you to work on your iPhone. Alternatively you can use WinSCP (opensource/free)

Get to the uppest folder (/) then proceed to Applications. Drop your xxx.app folder in there and edit the CHMOD of the files if required.

To CHMOD:
Right click on the selected files/folder. Properties/CHMOD. Edit the permission to 755 or perhaps 777 if your application needed it.

Restart your springboard. (Restart iPhone if you dont have any springboard restarter)
