March huh... It's been a long long wait, hope the wait's worth it!
And wonder what happened to the plan for a turbo'd CamPro, if there ever was a plan in the first place.
Proton Satria Neo CPS release date prediction, when should it be ?

btw bro. just got new from my boss today. the neo cps got auto and manual. limited unit available, price expect around 56-63k.
cannot comfirm whether it will have leather or bucket seats. but from the price i think they will put leather seats. using cps engine. new facelift. i bet proton will use r3 bodykit. or mayb they change a bit of the facelift. r3 bodykit mahal kot. hehe booking can be done starting next month for my place (not sure about other place) same goes with mpv which will be launched on early april. mpv suppose launch end or march. but they change the date again!. any info can pm me. just got news few hours ago. but one thing is sure. neo and mpv ecu tuning is different. but using same engine. rnd proton got 1.8 cps. but is it available for production, that one i don know. |

hmm so the neo cps is not going to be equipped with a turbo? that a bit of a letdown..even though i kind of predicted it already.
so its going to be 56k for the cheapest one? i guess its better to get the gen2 cps at least it is more practical at 57k.. |

Perhaps the cps Neo can do 0-100 in 8 sec, and so they claim that it is the second generation of GTI, and they expect to have good sales with this tactic?
Really can't wait for it to come out! |

i just really wished for proton R3 division or other 3rd party came up with 'real' performance parts like individual throttle body, higher cams for CPS etc....
...just like honda. hint: proton version of TODA racing This post has been edited by cloudstrife07: Feb 1 2009, 03:10 PM |

“While we can’t reveal too many details at this time, Satria GTi enthusiasts can rest easy in the knowledge that a performance version of the new Satria is not too far away and the R3 Satria is evidence of that,” Proton Cars Australia managing director John Startari.

i wish XD
i've been following the satria Neo cps updates, and i feel that if they're really going to sell this with just limited units that would be a waste, cause myself i am waiting to get a new satria, and am hoping this CPS thing to be an update of the current batch, just like the waja and gen2 where they get the CPS engine...
