QUOTE(b00n @ Jan 1 2009, 12:23 PM) In regards to food, it's best not to bring "tapaued" food on board and eat. Especially those non-halal as it's disrespectful. However, one can always opt to bring light snacks or food, i.e. bread and biscuits. Anyway, usually the flight attendants wouldn't care also. Do you know that eating meat is disrespectful to vegetarians ? So why the double standards ? |

QUOTE(apis @ Jan 1 2009, 12:37 PM) Yup,ur rite bout that. But we were talking local flight.Vegetarian is only minor. So,how can we classified them? But anyway this thing is off topic. We're talking about international flights. In all airlines in the world, they have a provision for vegetarian meals. They have more respect for all groups of people. QUOTE(apis @ Jan 1 2009, 12:46 PM) For sure they have a provision for vegetarian meals. So,what i mean that all tbhe passenger only eat vegetarian only coz want to respect them.No meat is allowed? Quote from BooN...."In regards to food, it's best not to bring "tapaued" food on board and eat. Especially those non-halal as it's disrespectful." It must be a standard that applies to all passengers. We can't forbid non-halal food because some passengers are non-halal. The same goes with non-beef, vegetarian etc. |

QUOTE(stimix @ Jan 1 2009, 05:15 PM) It's normal to smuggler abit of food & water into the plane. I did brought in snack & biscuits and for drinks, if u managed to bypass the security, better. If no, I normally tapau 2 bottles of water from the conv shop in the departure hall. & drink in plane...BTW, the combo meal at RM12 consist of either Chinese tea/pepsi & nasi lemak/nasi goreng..is worth the money you spent.. the nasi lemak is damn good & the OSK green tea is refilleable numerous times..so if u finish the drink just ask the stewardess to top-up or u DIY. What I was thinking is I make my own simple fried rice and put into lunch box. Can save money. BTW, I'm thinking to merge this thread to the existing AA..pucman u dun mind? stimix, You can merge into airasia thread if you want. This post has been edited by pucman: Jan 1 2009, 06:14 PM |

QUOTE(stimix @ Jan 1 2009, 08:10 PM) Eh..just hope the policemen b4 the departure hall dun caught u bringing the tupperware...chances of getting caught is high since they scan tyou bag..normally I brought in only those snacks & etc which they allow-inĀ You mean they don't allow tupperware with food ? It's not dangerous and can't be used as weapons. Why they don't allow ? This post has been edited by stimix: Jan 1 2009, 08:18 PM |

The checking for air asia seem to be quite lax. I saw an old man taking a bottled mineral water on board the plane and nobody complained.
Then there were those without express boarding queuing on the express lane and they let them through too. |
