i got a free upgraded seat to premium thru calling to the customer service centre and when i was checking in in the Chengdu airport, the chengdu AA manager did not allow me to take tat seat and forced me to the far behind seat bcoz the amount i paid is the normal price.. and embarrassed me in front of other passengers.
Felt so angry and embarrassing. Ended up the aircrew did not bother at all to ask me when i was sitting back to the seat i deserved to sit.
What is the point? It is empty anyway if they wanted me to sit behind. Why not gain some customer loyalty by allowing me get wat i was offered. Even in the boarding pass and itinerary written tat seat no.
