Quote from BooN....
"In regards to food, it's best not to bring "tapaued" food on board and eat. Especially those non-halal as it's disrespectful."
It must be a standard that applies to all passengers.
We can't forbid non-halal food because some passengers are non-halal. The same goes with non-beef, vegetarian etc.
Heck don't complain to me....complain to the authorities...
If you think that you're good enough than just bring it.
It's only my opinion.
And re-read your title.
First off you're asking a question and next thing you know, you're correcting every little suggestion one have thrown at you...
Bravo for your sincerity.
Good luck in life.
Btw, even if you board any other airlines; to my knowledge, non would allowed "tapau" food on board. The best is still cookies and breads. (i.e. dry foods)
It's more towards domestic flight that is more lenient.
So since now you've mentioned that it's an international flight, good luck trying to clear the checkpoint with "tapaued" food. Remember to post pics if you does manage.

Do you know that eating beef is disrespectful to hindus and certain chinese buddhist ?
Do you know that eating meat is disrespectful to vegetarians ?
So why the double standards ?

The problem is you're flying with a M'sian based airline and clearing M'sian immigration.
