How is the startup time and lag for macbook with 1gb ram? Lag as in when you start an application.

@schizophrenic,
I use an MBP and before I got an additional 512MB it was running on 1GB RAM - speed seems fine smile.gif

I had 1GB RAM on my Macbook for awhile. It depends a lot on the applications you use and how many you have open. For regular browsing, word processing, simple iLife apps, 1GB RAM is fine. You need more when you start to have more apps open at the same time...

you wont feel the faster speed cuz you still put in 667Mhz ram into your macbook
just that, when you are in heavy load, then u will feel different
