Plaster Ceiling Renovation, How much does it cost? Renovations

Hi all, need to ask a question. my house is under Renovation now and I'm doing the 3 "longkang" type of Plaster Ceiling (sorry dunno the exact name of this design, my Contactor calls it longkang hehee). I saw pic on the net and told Contactor I wanted the same design.
When I went to view the progress, the boards are up but the t5 lights are visible! are the lights supposed to be visible? Anyone who did this design pls advise... Are the any way to rectify this?
