Hi Sifu,
Do you think install Air-con and then follow by plaster ceiling, is better? i'm asking because my air con pipe/ducting is quite closed to ceiling, PS contractor mention need to adjust box size to fit the air-con. PS contractor advice installed PS first then follow by air-con? Anyone can give suggestion?
I give you my advise. Always get things done from top to bottom. Don's simply install aircond at first. In terms of working procedure or safety wise, air cond should come last. Your aircond contractor should know well how many space needed to fit the aircond right below the plaster ceiling and right on top the curtain rail height. Normally 1 HP a/c is about 12inches. You can do the calculation already by measure ceiling drop how many inches + 12inches a/c = is it still right on top sliding door frame?Do you think install Air-con and then follow by plaster ceiling, is better? i'm asking because my air con pipe/ducting is quite closed to ceiling, PS contractor mention need to adjust box size to fit the air-con. Hope it's help.
