hi guys.. just wanna ask.. can i just install L-box direct to my original ceiling without installing the normal flat plaster ceiling?
as below image is my rough idea on how i want the L-box positioned (if applicable) so that it the light is shined down to my living room, study area and dining area.
Yellow highlighted part is where the lights should be install (again if applicable). Red will be the L-box.
Why i want only the L-box is well i like the effect of L-box, but i don't want my ceiling to be too low with an additional flat plaster ceiling. And most importantly is because i want my fan to be installed in the middle of the box direct onto the ceiling. Well i do not have the exact height measurement of my ceiling yet because my house is not ready.. should be another 1-2 months before i can get the key..
roughly how much will this cost + wiring?

i got similar problem with u....i oso dowan my ceiling low but my plster ceiling contractor told me not recommend to do L-box if no flat plaster ceiling cos the light effect will make us easy to see the uneven wall. he recommend me to install 4inch flat plaster ceiling....as below image is my rough idea on how i want the L-box positioned (if applicable) so that it the light is shined down to my living room, study area and dining area.
