I thank myself lucky to be English/Malay educated. I can say it contributed by opening up my views and exposure more. Schools such as Chinese schools, Sekolah Agama and Tamil schools tend to produce more close minded individuals though from experience with people educated in that manner it is not always the case.

Personally, I can't fully 'connect' (in a communication point of view...cough) with a Chinese ed girl as a gf because of the cultural differences even though I'm Chinese myself.
