Your point of views for me r definitely being discriminative , prejudice ; and one-sided . This quote of yours ' you cannot work in any profession on a high level unless you speak excellent English and have learnt Western modes of thinking ' , what makes u think that u nid an excellent English to work on professional / high level professions ? For western countries u do nid a high level of fluency and standard of english to be able survive and respected by the others . On contrary , for other asian countries I dont think so . For an example China and Japan , peoples there will definitely need those who able to speak fluently and a high standard of their language inorder to work on a high level of profession and they'll definitely gained the trust and respects of their ppls compare to a western professionals . So it actually greatly depends on various factors ....

And what makes u to think chinese ed is un-ed ? because they dont practice western modes of thinking and dont speak english ? Which aspect that u sees as an educated person , a person who holds a damn good cert consider as educated ?

It greatly depends on their way of thinking and the way they see things , I can say that majority chinese ed gals consist of a higher morality towards their parents than western gals , from this we can actually refer western gals as uneducated gal from the morality aspect .

Lastly from wat u said ' they're stuck in the mode of thinking of Chinese immigrants. ' This is totally untrue . For the older generations is a yes but for modern generation u cant be that sure .

Ya lor, it's not like poor people want to make "stupid" purchases. Hey I'd buy that Audi too if I had that "lifestyle" because it's awesome quality, but sadly I only drive a Proton Saga (I don't drive a Proton btw )
