I don't understand a word of mandarin. I can understand cantonese and hakka but prefer not to speak them because I sound so weird. xD my intonation is a complete basket case. Sometimes I wish was chinese ed just so I could speak chinese better.

looks like everyone goes for english ed girl than chinese ed girl...
wat i think is both the same.. since now it's undeniable that girls/guys are easily spoilt.. chinese ed girls at least they're filled in wif more moral lessons during primary anyway, it all depends on which kind of groups that the girl mix wif, and wat kind of environment she's exposed to.. got pros and cons lor p/s: although i'm english ed, sometimes i prefer chinese ed girl more than eng ed.. how come most are siding with english ed? is english ed really so much better than chinese ed ppl?? some of the english ed are oso quite arrogant.. dono y but i really believe what some say about english ed ppl thinks that they are way more advanced than some...
if u ask me.. well.. to me there's not much difference.. i mean there is in the extremes of both sides, but generally all are quite the same and those differences is negligable.. a matter of taste~ haha...but i don like those typical english ed ppl.. if compared to typical chinese ed.. but seriously the top 5 picture taking poses.. damn.. haha oh ya, am a english ed.. speak fluent chinese tho (for a banana)~ at least that's what i think.. in public U so d whole world speaks mandarin.. so i have first hand experience on both types and like it or not 2 me i think its a matter of preferences... |

i don think chinese ed and english ed can click together....
my mom a chinese ed while my dad an english ed... both of them always argue because of different opinion.... my dad prefer risky stuff while my mom def cant take risk.... and i because of eng ed feel difficult to communicate with my mom and the rest of my chinese ed exes...... i mean what the hell they are calling the gf and checking what they do every now and then..... |

I am english educated, my gf is chinese educated i cant even speak a hint of mandarin, maybe i know wo ai ni. My gf dont really fall into any of your stereotypical category found in this thread. Shes open minded, not emo, maybe i am more of the emo one sometimes when i dont get enough attention. We've been going out for 2 and the half years, initially we had communication problems due to different family backgrounds, but now the relationship is healthy. I dont understand why you stereotype english ed and chinese ed. When you fall for someone it doesnt matter wether their englsih or chinese educated, poor or rich, u just fall for them unconditionally, and try to work out the differences, if it doesnt then end it la. simple.
