Don't you remember Aizen is planning to destroy KT town to make the King's key?Maybe he wants to kill the SS King and take the throne for himself.He did mention that he wanted to be at the top and that no one has accomplished that feat at the sokyouku hill.This might imply that the SS King might have died and that the throne was empty. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
