Never wanted any respect for my taste for that's what i taste, not you. I can however condemn what doesn't taste good, whether you like it or not. Don't like certain food, I can always say I don't like it in any way I like and why I don't like it and the best part is at least I'm not lying. So yeah, pretentious characters, unrealistically unreal for an unreal storyline, obnoxious dialogue, unmemorable music, unforgiving fillers. poorly driven protagonist, ridiculous antagonist. much too much hidden ploys, like there's an excuse for everything. BAD excuses.

"unrealistically unreal for an unreal storyline" - the main reason while i still do like Bleach I guess i've been watching one too many serious animes that a Bleach episode per week feels kinda refreshing for me.

Those who feel like the series are going downhill, there're tons of anime out there which are very unlike Bleach.

bleach 299 - hell.. zzz. 2 arrancars spotted dropping into it. Shrieker was sent out from hell to kill some shinigamis. Ok i kinda get whr the plot is going after this... All of them gathering in hell. And ichigo is the key? wth? Aizen coming to gather all of them later once he's freed? Ow total new plot to explore here.. *just speculating

i made a mistake. the characters are very serious about what they do. but the things that happen, the way it happens, the things they say are very corny. Very very irritating.
I should have said ridiculously serious for an uninteresting storyline.

want something not serious but yet INTERESTING? watch a movie like big lebowski or burn after reading.

Doesn't need to be realistic, but at least don't be totally ridiculous.

why captain still hold back their Bankai? u know, against Aizen they should go all out. few captain may have a reason, like Yamamoto. come on.. its like Bankai nowaday is just a filler... it should be ULTIMATE x10 power enhancer.
u can say some got dangerous Bankai but most of them like that, come on..

Bankai in my opinion is a two-staged WOW factor of less than 10 seconds. First is the moment they transformed and then secondly they moment they unleashed the power within their Bankai. Yes, some of their appearance do look very captivating and fasnicating to a degree. So does Arrancar transformation.

Then, after all that souped up hype is gone, reality starts to sink in and that's when you realize there's nothing really anything to look forward to from those guys. Yup, just like the infamous GETSUGA TENSHOU. It seems to me the dude uses Getsuga Tenshou for everything. Getsuga Tenshou is overly abused in this manga that it makes you wonder if Ichigo trim the Bonsai tree with Getsuga Tenshou or chop tofu with the same move or not.

That final move from Ichigo, i dunno what the hell they call it...final GT or whateva...it seems like Kubo accidently tilted his bottle of black ink across two pages of blank paper and then calls it day. And that is how Aizen goes down?? All i'm saying is, Kubo should add more substance in the fights, engineer a system or probably add more depth n dimension to it...not just keeping using the same script all the time.

The tools are always there, (Bankai, Hollow transformation, Kidou arts, the use of elements) but too bad Kubo doesnt know how to utilize them fully.
