Holy smokes, is DC dishing out the goods or WHAT? The character specific teasers have been awesome so far.

Correct me if I'm wrong but so far we've got Aquaman, Batman and The Flash, so we have Wonder Woman and Cyborg's character teasers left.

And well, Superman...Snyder/DC might be saving him for much later? Seems like he hasn't featured much since the poster of them all standing side by side.

Flash looks good, I like what I see in his teaser trailer, can't wait to see how he stacks up against Singer's Quicksilver from X-Men Apocalypse, coz that was cool as heck too!

Man, the Hype Engine I think was just released.

3 hour movies FTW!!!

So I'm not sure if this has been discussed but one theory going around about the plot for JL is that Superman returns evil after Darkseid resurrects him. But of course eventually he returns to the light.

Any takers?

Yeah, that's the thing, even myself...I don't think I'm ready to see that on screen yet.

It's just, I haven't seen enough of Superman really in his element. If they jump into the evil end, it would just feel disjointed, to me at least.

I really liked the JL trailer and I think it highlighted many of the characters really well, especially Aquaman. I'm wondering how they will top this especially since Superman isn't featured yet...or who knows, they might not feature him at all until the movie.

Zack says that Superman plays a big role in the movie but so far, no sign of this yet. I guess they are keeping Supes' involvement under wraps and they're doing a pretty good job about it.

The wait is painful but I hear you man, if they play their cards right and wait until much later to reveal Supes AND do it in a big way that tops the current trailer...that would be amazing. The thing about Superman is, his power is almost limitless in a way and I think that makes it hard to show his awesomeness. I am not claiming to be a hardcore DC fan or hardcore Superman fan in any sense but from the little I know, they have many variations of Superman and correct me if I am wrong but this Superman hasn't reached his full power yet. I mean, I've heard of Bloodlust Superman, Sun Soaked Superman, Kingdom Come etc and his strength varies in these different iterations of him. Therefore the hard part is to really impress the audience when they know this guy's power is almost limitless. I mean, he would have to be literally moving planets to show his strength.

That to me is what I feel is hard about tackling how to portray Superman. But I have to say, when it comes to the look, and personality...our boy Cavill is doing an excellent job. Even in BVS where many thought he was brooding and depressed, that guy is Superman!

Yea and Cavill teased about this in his instagram posts a few weeks back. Armie Hammer has the look for sure.

Very sad to hear this coming from Zack. I think he did well to hide it from the media, but we are only human and the death of your own child (not to mention by suicide) will definitely take a toll on a person - whether physically or mentally.

I still think the movie is in good hands under Geoff Johns. Also, and I know this is AGES ago but Whedon was amazing for Buffy.

Either way, I just can't wait to see the movie!

Like how they used part of the MOS theme toward the end.

And Alfred's reference to 'hope' at the end?

Yeah, a lot has been said about that actually and many prefer this new colour palette used. It's brighter and the colours have more punch.

I think DC/WB/Snyder and now Joss Whedon have really taken into account the response of the audience toward MOS and BVS. They are making a lot of effort to make sure that JL is well received by the general audience, hardcore comic fans and movie critics, and I cannot imagine that that is an easy task.

I personally liked both MOS and BVS, although I think Supes' death was a bit rushed in BVS; DC should have taken their time to build the characters, maybe should have released MOS 2 first before BVS.

But hey, what do I know?

I wonder what the budget is like to remove his facial hair with CGI.

Not only that, during re-shoots, I wonder what's going through Cavill's mind as he plays the character but with a big fat moustache. Will his co-stars take him seriously?

Still, I can't wait for the movie. So eagerly waiting Superman's return. I hope they do him justice.

However, so far there has been no official or even leaked news that they have cast anyone as Green Lantern. Armie Hammer had been suggested but so far nothing official and in this day and age, it's almost impossible to keep something like this out of the public eye, especially with paparazzi and social media.

If it was Green Lantern, the scene with Alfred seems to imply that he will play a big role which means not just a cameo. I can see how if it was a cameo appearance they could hide it from social media etc but if he were to play a big role? That would mean shooting a lot of scenes...unless ALL his scenes are in the studio.

Alfred seemed to emphasize on the word hope when he addressed the individual. Ever since MOS, they've associated the word hope with Superman - this and the fact that some viewers can see a bit of a red hue (which could hint that is is Supes' cape) on the bottom right portion of the screen (although it is a bit dark) seems to hint that it could be Superman. I first thought it could be Martian Manhunter also because of the plasma sounds, but he has a blue cape.

If you notice, the words ALL IN at the end had a green hue to it as well.

I don't know, maybe they're just messing with us and that scene was filmed just for the trailer to throw us off!?

They've not done the final edit since Joss Whedon is doing massive re-shoots, and we may not see scenes from the trailer in the eventual final cut of the movie.

Man, they need to ramp up marketing on this. The suspense sucks!! 3 and a half months to go...

It could be that they are treading very carefully after the backlash from BvS.

I think WB and DC want to make sure JL is well received by both the fans and movie critics. That being said, if they are saving Superman's resurrection till the very end then they better make it count man!

By the way, any truth to the fiasco about removing Cavill's 'stache with CGI? I would assume it would take A LOT of man-hours and money. So far, no one has really given a straight answer with Cavill making fun of it and the MI:6 Director also having fun with the whole thing.

That IS true, I remember about a month prior to the release of MOS, they released a clip almost every other day! At first I was like 'hell yeah bring it on'. Then I became like ' OK stop, I get the idea now'.

Hope they balance it right this time.

I think they toned it down during BvS, but they kinda spoilt it with the Doomsday reveal.

As for Wonder Woman, I wasn't following that film too closely.

A few months ago Cavill teased the 'black suit' on his instagram account. Not sure what it means though; it doesn't really confirm anything hehe.

On a slightly more serious note though, I hope that if they reveal Superman in any capacity before the movie, it better be profound.

He's huge all right.

I read that he also refused to cheat during his preparations to bulk up as Superman during the MOS days.

His trainer asked him if he wanted to take steroids etc and he said no. His trainer than said good coz he wouldn't train him if he did.

I think he's a natural.

Also..physically, he embodies Superman; maybe characteristics wise we haven't seen that due to the script and direction in the first two movies but if you follow his instagram, the lad is nice guy! WB should let him be himself I suppose.

We'll see how JL turns out.
