If I were Josh Whedon, I keep Superman appearance until the movie out. Let Henry Cavil do some hintings via his tweet page/insta like he did last time with black Superman suit.

That will make Superman as a really really wow factor, and making people really eager to see the movie.

Havent they learn from BvS? Where they revealed Doomsday too early, which was supposed to be the real wow factor for BvS.

Actually the fans are quite vocal about superman not being in JL's marketing push. For many, superman IS the reason why they would want to see the film

They can keep the plot and villain under wraps, but not superman

Well Josh Whedon has experience with Marvel, where he can repeat what Marvel did with Captain America: CW, where they keep Spiderman a big secret, heck even promotional posters, initial trailers and interviews also mati-mati not reveal any part of Spiderman's appearance. It was until the final trailer then Spiderman is revealed a month before the movie release to increase the hype. Well, it is more towards how the marketing do the job to make a movie success, regardless whether it will receive bad review/crittics or low rate, but still getting box office collection due to the surprise element during marketing.

Whedon is not responsible for what goes into trailers, it's marketing's job

Can't wait to hear this hopeful theme in JL again. This theme didn't play that much in BvS

I'm glad they're still not revealing Superman even though its confirmed that he's joining. And I thought Snyder is no longer involved? Its Joss Whedon now.
