Just where is this promotion applicable? Then again, I'm not planning to get a new machine anytime soon; even if got also it'll probably be a Mac Mini or iMac - depends on when the desktop at home needs replacement *grins*

Its in Australia Student's promotion. You need to show your ID to the Mac's reseller..
IMac here is pretty reasonable too..

ME TOO! In KL... Not much of promo here. MacStudio has a promo which is free a laptop sleeve and the ball to make typing easier, don't know what you call that. MBP in Malaysia still waiting for approval from SIRIM! ARGH!!!!!

at PC Fair is really rare to find Mac Reseller

i went to every PC fair and the last time i saw Mac Reseller on December 2006.

hahaha....unfortunately been using deskstop all this years...macbook is my first lappy.....really noob la me...hehehe....

UPDATE: The new Penryn-based MacBook Pro has just arrived in Malaysia, Mac Studio being the first Apple Premium Reseller to get hold of the stock! (It has always been the first, like the Penryn-based MacBook.)

For the promotion, the guy has not confirmed with me any freebies which we will get upon purchase. He will update me tomorrow, maybe?

want to wait till June and if new Macbook does come we also need to extend our wait since SIRIM has a very good heart

then if Apple didn't introduce new Macbook this June i might think to wait till December, hoping to see new updates and so on

I checked RMIT todya sold 35 MBP today and mine is the 2nd last ones...

I need help now...
after i plug my External harddisc i cannot scan my other drives even my XP lappy also... now i'm worried about my files in there all gone.. is there a way to save it out? =/
