Probably due to the drop in US dollars because the FED wants to pump in more money to the system causing inflation. Their rate cuts also causes inflation.

If not mistaken all money deposited in banks in Malaysia are guaranteed by Bank Negara. Not sure if Investment banks fall in the same category, but broking house don't think it's guaranteed.

Probably because 2nd board hardly get any attention these days, even the recent bull run, everyone was waiting for the 2nd boarders to catch up, but the bull retired before it was their turn.

Anyway, there is enough 'cheap' and high liquidity stocks in Main board itself, 2nd board and Mesday becomes pariah.

As long as they fulfill the requirements of listing, SC will allow them to list. Listing doesn't mean profit for investors though. Listing will let the company raise cash it can't get from banks, in return of shares in the company. Listing does not guarantee profits, does not guarantee capital protection and does not favour the investors at all other than the promise of better returns compared to the investor's savings account.
