Expects results to have short-term negative impact on KLCI on concerns relating to slowdown in decision-making process, especially with strong opposition voice in Parliament. Notes also, some short-term uncertainties on investment growth, especially in states now held by opposition parties. "However, we think that the long-term repercussions of this election could be positive. The current status quo has been shaken and the government may address some of its shortfalls which will eventually help the competitiveness of the country. Moreover, the election process may now be deemed to be free and fair and democracy is still very much alive. Wait and see, I don't think the Double Tracking project is going to get the green light other than Perlis.

Overseas project is losing money like hell.

Gamuda is strong only because of their toll concessions which we might see the end also if the new S'gor state goverment intervenes.

But FMR is currently holding 15% of Gamuda shares, maybe they'll do something to raise the price again.

Wait for a few months and see.
