My IE 6 keeps crashing after that silly update few months back, I have updated the fix MS released but there's still high chance of crashing when i after I login to sites. This is really annoying I have 3 Computers all 3 have the same problem.

I still prefer IE6 is there anyway to fix this problem?

I tried IE7 when it 1st launched, hated it to the bones. So user unfriendly. That's was when I downgrade back to IE6. But alas that stupid patch messed everything up and problems still exist after applying the fix.

I have also installed Opera browser, it's ok, but not used to it, and pages sometimes gets stuck while half way loading that I need to click stop and click again to reload.

I have yet tried firefox, i heard opera is better than firefox.

But still I'm used to IE6 how can i fix this problem?

I believe it is this problem Microsoft IE6 error, i have installed the fix that they created, but sadly the fix only minimize the chance of IE crashing, ironically speaking, I just opened the page on MS and the error appeared...

Seems when I 1st open the IE6 and go to certain types of sites like email etc, it will have high chance of crashing. If i went to google or some other site, chances of crashing is minimized when I go to email sites.

You guys never heard of this issue? It's like anyone with that updates will have problems. Sorry I just prefer IE6 I installed Opera because of this, but OPERA still have it's own issue like page freezes half way loading.

Firefox is better!
But firefox 2.0 can cause computer slowdown problems
My old pentium 4 1.7ghz couldn't take ff2.0
So I downgraded it to 1.5 ^^

Also, did anyone tried the XP SP3 RC patch?
My IE7 keeps crashing on the laptop few days ago.
Reinstalling would not help,
So I tried installing IE7 after i update my XP to SP3, works fine

What improvements have IE7 made so far since it first launch. Like I said I hated IE7 when it first launched as the button layout are awkward and has little flexibility.

Maybe it improved alot?
