If i remember correctly, Xbox 360 is being sold at Courts. But maybe that offer is gone already. Because if not mistaken also, they have installment plans for it.

QUOTE(sihumchai @ Feb 22 2008, 10:50 AM) Doesn't Gamers Hideout have that Maybank 0% interest thingie? Correct... GH got the maybank 0% installment... I'm pretty sure other outlets can do the same too. Shops that is. It depends on the outlet lah.. if they carry the 0% installment then u can do it there.. If not still lum sum payment.... |

What I did once, I bought something using CC, then called the bank, ask them to convert the purchase I just made.
They did that immediately, 0% interest free for 12 months, but there's 3% one time service charge, that's it. So if the purchase is RM1000, the monthly installment is (1000 + 30) / 12 = RM85.83 Don't know about other CC, but Public Bank can, and I think also Citibank. If the shop already provides bank CC installment like GH, there's no 3% charge though. Better go there instead. |

You could also purchase using your current credit card. Then apply for a new credit card at a different bank and do a 0% balance transfer.

QUOTE(rx330 @ Feb 22 2008, 05:10 PM) I can onli find PB with 0% balance transfer. but still need to pay 1.5%,3% @ 6 % upfront charge (depends on balance) from total transfer value. The transferred balance then can settle using 0% installment. Can chose 6,12 & 24 months.Good deal i think |

All it means is that instead of your credit card charging you RM 1000 in one lump sum, you spread that amount over a period of 6 to 24 months (depending on the value of the product). For example I paid RM 2399 for my old TV over a period of 12 months and did not get charged additional interest which means I paid exactly what the price was, no more.

QUOTE(cyclonekid @ Feb 22 2008, 09:42 PM) hah? first time ? anyway, a noted for any installment purchasing for you guys out there.remember to pay the monthly instsallment payment. do not pay the "minimum" payment of the credit cause if you do that, confirm the bank will charges "interest" in it. |
