So far i have installed many using WRT54GL, WRT150N and Buffalo WHR Series no problems, all using DD-WRT Special firmware or V24 stable :-) . Of course the TX powered is increased :-) to achieved powerfull signal, I think you better read DD-WRT Wikipedia and Forum, there is the place where you seek help to do the modding.
Some of buyers of this antenna prefer to do self installations without proper knowledge of networking and the hardware. Of course if u want to DIY it require hard work and reference. If u wish to hired us to do the installation and pay us, we would love to but it's kinda pricey. This post has been edited by MX510: Jun 30 2008, 12:56 PM |

QUOTE(cruel_boy @ Jul 20 2008, 03:24 PM) 7dBi 360 Omni 2.4GHz Antenna . Free 1M cable SMA connector = RM 109.00 ( Up to 400meter ) It depend on the thickness of the wall and the power transmit power from your access point to ur antenna. I am suggesting to put two access point one as the master another one as repeater in WDS mode . if i place this inside a terrace house(middle of a 10 house block), will it be able to cover all 10 houses? |

It should cover 400 to 500 meter :-)how far can 7dbi go? 300m? * For performance rate i recommended my DD-WRT Routers which you can increase mW powered to your antenna for better performance * This post has been edited by MX510: Jul 28 2008, 10:09 PM |
