Look, I might sound harsh and all, and I know there is already a topic that is pinned and stuff but I can't help but get annoyed when people get confused between break and brake. I don't mean to berate your lack of command of English and stuff but ever bother to check the meaning of what you type ?

And don't give me that thing about your mechanic uses that term so i should also use it. We are adaptive. I bet some of you are Chinese ed and are still typing here in english so it means that you can keep a separate set of vocabulary in case you are speaking to your mechanic.

Break means pecah or 'lan'

Brake are the things you use to stop the car.

Also its camber not chamber

Chamber is a type of room or small space. like a pressurized chamber where people do testing.

Camber is the inclination of your wheel.

Mods, if you think this should be closed then do so. But at least I feel contented I have let this out.

gostan actually has a meaning.

it is actually short for 'Go a-stern' which means go backwards as stern is the rear part of the ship.

no need to add more words cos my point is quite simple.

If dunno spelling, try to check cos some of us here are diy mechs and are educated in english and have been so all our lives. That includes our car education.

take the Haynes series manuals for example. I have learned how to strip down, clean and rebuild engines, drive trains and almost anything in a car. The problem is, when people start asking me about how to adjust tepek, i go huh ? and the thing is if i correct them, they say its irrelevant.

Ever thought that if you googled the correct term, you would get tonnes of information ? Especially credible ones.

Take it as a chance for you to improve yourself and help us help you.

p.s. : cool........at this point, post number 666

i'm not particular about the standard of the grammar. Its the terms. Poor grammar we can still get the point.

Terms......we can be guessing for 20 posts and in the end we realized nothing we typed mattered.

matthew, I'm not asking for perfect english. I'm just asking for a constant learning of terms. If you come to us with chamber and we say its camber then from that point on use camber. makes our lives easier. right ? Don't argue using the mechanic thingy.
